Book Group

Our online Book Group meet once a month for lively discussions of Borrow's works. Currently we are slowly working our way through Wild Wales, having finished reading The Bible in Spain last year. All are welcome - please email peteransell@hotmail.com if you are interested, and he will send you further details, including the date and time of the next meeting (it's usually on the fourth Monday of the month at 7:30 UK time), plus the text we will be discussing and the registration link for joining the Zoom meeting.

2025 Forthcoming Events

Christmas On-line Celebration. Saturday 6th December 2025, 7.30pm UK time. Join us via Zoom to celebrate George Borrow, with readings from his works by members, lively discussion, a quiz, and the chance to toast George Borrow's memory with a tipple in the comfort of your own home.
