The current edition of the George Borrow Society Bulletin

The Spring 2016 George Borrow Bulletin is now out (Series 2, No. 12) and members should have received their copy.

As we’re a very active Society, this issue has bundled together reports on some of our events, including our Christmas Meal at the Hereford Arms. We’d had the Anglesey meeting just before the Bulletin arrived, and are looking forward to our Epping meeting in October. Reports on both those events will be in the next Bulletin.

It’s really good that a number of our members have provided very interesting and useful articles and notes for this Bulletin: it really is amazing that despite all of the research done so far, there’s so much still being discovered about George Borrow.

In the editorial Ann mentions two other George Borrow websites. There’s our Facebook web page where you can share thoughts, ask questions etc.—you don’t have to be a member of the Society to join it but you do need a Facebook account. There’s also Peter Missler’s excellent website with extensive content about George Borrow and Spain. Links to both sites are on the left of this page.
